Please contact us if you have a school group that is interested in forming a competitive team or customizing an ongoing fitness program.
Rowing builds strategic skills, is a stress reliever, increases focus and determination, develops friendships and teamwork, is challenging and a great workout. The field of rowing has many scholarship offerings who continue to row at the college level. Moving fast across the water with a breathtaking backdrop of Lake McIntosh is an exhilarating experience.
The Peachtree City Rowing Club is entering the sixth year of serving athletes in Fayette, Coweta and the surrounding areas. Established in 2015, we are a not-for-profit club founded on the principals of teamwork, leadership and strength while growing the sport of rowing in the Southeast. The beautiful Lake McIntosh Park is our home. Peachtree City Rowing strives, with the support of its members, parents, business sponsors and community leaders, to promote the furtherance of rowing among amateurs, more particularly the instruction, improvement, competition and enjoyment of the art of rowing. It also encourages a friendly and social spirit among its members. We have established our own dedicated dock, space for our athletes to train with ergometers and weights, and a boathouse for the boats, oars and equipment necessary to field several entries at each regatta. We currently support 40 Novice and Varsity athletes, and over 15 adult Masters and club members.
We are seeking your center’s involvement with our rowing club for mutual benefit. Please consider supporting or partnering with our club for a singular event or an ongoing program. We would welcome the opportunity to meet and discuss further.
